I was born in Missoula, raised in Columbia Falls, and eventually found my way to Carroll College here in Helena, where I studied Film and Television Production. I fell in love with the art of visual storytelling — not just how to compose a beautiful shot, but how to feel your way through it. After working for a local television station, both in studio and out at events, I discovered photography was where my heart truly belonged: with real people, real stories, and real moments.

Before I ever picked up a camera, I grew up watching bold women and idolizing big-hearted dreamers. Katharine Hepburn showed me how to speak with fire and grace. Ginger Rogers taught me that elegance can dance backward in heels. Steve and Terri Irwin proved that passion, when paired with love, creates a life worth remembering — even in its wildest, messiest moments. Their stories shaped me. But so did my own.

I met the love of my life on an app more than a decade ago (fun fact: he was on a date when I texted him — no regrets). I married my best friend, and we’ve built a life full of joy, humor, and meaning. We’re raising a daughter who keeps us laughing, teaches us daily, and inspires the kind of traditions that aren’t for show — the ones that live in the quiet of a weeknight or the chaos of a dance party in the kitchen. Those are the moments I live for — and the kind I’m drawn to capture.

As your photographer, I bring both direction and play, elegance and ease. I’ll tell you exactly what to do with your hands, and I’ll also invite you to be fully, comfortably you. You don’t need to know how to pose. You just have to show up — and I’ll take it from there.
